Business Network Wales is a Linkedin group that I started probably ten years ago, and I haven’t done much with it since, until now.
I wrote a post a while back for TSQL Tuesday. The blog was about all the things we had been up to during lockdown. You can read that post here.
When I wrote that post, it wasn’t the end of lockdown and while I was happy with what we as a business had done to help it was apparent to me as we start to unlock, return to work its evident that companies and organisations that have been closed for months might be struggling. Small businesses, in particular, have had to endure a lot and not. I had an idea of using the Business Network Wales (BNW) group to get people and businesses together and help each other out as things start to get going again. A rising tide raises all boats.
Business Network Wales – Online Networking Event
The goal of the event is to help businesses get going again – the session has a focus on Wales. Still, it’s open to anyone who does business with companies and organisations in Wales. So take this as an invitation to join us – go to this Eventbrite page and sign up.
Hopefully, we’ll have Business Network Wales events regularly going forward, running on the third Thursday of every month. June will be the first of these events, and the format is pretty fluid. For the first event, I will give a short presentation on how business can get the most out of their Linkedin posts. We’ll then have by an open session where attendees can introduce themselves and their companies, and we discuss any burning issues people may have.
Remember, a rising tide raises all boats. If you want to get involved in Business Network Wales, please sign up. It’s free to join
