Welcome to Blogs on the POD – Semi Final Edition. This week has seen the semi-finals of the Euros take place, and in the final this weekend we have Italy (who beat Spain on penalties) and England who beat Denmark 2-1 after extra time. No penalties yet for them, although Harry Kane technically missed one, we’ll keep quiet about that though.

I’m sure Italy and England fans every will be delighted. Commiserations to the teams that went out. Both had great tournaments and did very well to get this far, the final promises to be very entertaining on Sunday.

Nikola Ilic updated his Paginated reports in Power BI post with a video, you can find all you need on this blog post.

Kevin Chant published a blog post with the focus on having one Power BI report for both Azure boards and Github.  If your existing repositories are in GitHub and you are using Azure Boards to manage your work items, this will be very useful for you. Kevin also posted that his company are looking for BI Engineer, if you are interested and live in the Netherlands then get in touch with Kevin for more details

I shared a video called “Four SQL Server Problems you are probably suffering from” It was my first attempt at a PetchaKutcha presentation. Kay Sauter posted that the second edition of data TGIF is running on Friday 16th July with  Akshata Revankar talking about Getting Started with PowerBI Desktop. You can signup here Kay also posted a blog about DBA Tools. It’s one of our favourite open-source tools here at gethynellis.com and Kay has a great write up of it here.

Ben Weissman used the POD to promote the third edition of ew Stars of Data, which will be running in October. If you are new to speaking on the Microsoft Data platform, then this conference is a great place to start. The call for speakers is open and you can submit your session here. The call for speakers closes on 1st August, the event will take place on 22nd of October. It’s a great event, so do get involved if you are interested.
